Why the "Music
Highway" name?
Music Highway is an
actual stretch of highway (Interstate 40) that extends between
Nashville & Memphis, Tennessee and so designated by the State of Tennessee |
Legislature in honor of all the artists and musicians that
have traveled this historic route for many decades.
| Music Highway is
also a radio show originating in Jackson, Tennessee (located about
halfway between Nashville & Memphis along Interstate 40) hosted by
Wes Henley & Ron Haney. The show airs each Sunday night on radio
station WYNU-FM/Rock 92.3 in the Jackson market and broadcasts
throughout West Tennessee and into the surrounding adjacent states. |

Finally, Music Highway
symbolically represents the road traveled by music artists
everywhere in search of their musical dreams and success in their
careers.
To these artists, musicians,
songwriters, and all associated with any such musical journey, alive or
deceased, we dedicate this website in tribute to the great music they
all have, or are, contributing to the lives of people around the
world.
